    ADOPTION OF PERFUSION BEST
    PRACTICES

The Orrum COE works to validate perfusion departments for meeting high-quality standards and adherence to best practices in perfusion. Orrum-quality-led improvement tasks help guide your department’s perfusion practices to exceed industry standards. Through data collection in the Orrum database, quality metrics are readily available for process improvement projects. These tasks bring the perfusion department on par with industry standards to ensure patient safety and superior outcomes for your patient population.

    REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

The Orrum COE helps establish and maintain compliance with the standards and guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies such as Joint Commission, DNV-GL (NIAHO standards to integrate ISO 9001 Quality Management Program. Det Norske Veritas Germanischer Lloyd (DNV merged with them in 2013), HFAP (Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program), CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid), AABB (American Association of Blood Banks), and OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration).
